Bitterroot River Float Trips with Bitterroot Rafting Adventures.
The Bitterroot River lies in one of the most beautiful valleys that has ever existed. Surrounded on all sides by the Bitterroot National Forest and it’s abundant wildlife, the landscape that envelopes the Bitterroot River in its entirety is truly magnificent.

Beginning where the east and west forks converge near the town of Conner, the Bitterroot offers exquisite scenery and photo opportunities for floaters the entire length of its gorgeous course through the valley. The Sapphire mountains rise to the east while the Bitterroot mountains are found to the west.
The Valley itself is lush by Montana standards, and is also located in a sort of banana belt. Unlike many of the rivers located in Montana that flow through isolated and remote country, the Bitterroot Valley is fairly well-developed, and also comprises the fastest growing region of Montana.
On it’s banks are the many wonderful small towns like Darby, Conner, Sula and the cities like Hamilton, Stevensville and Lolo. Services and other amenities like local eateries, breweries and B & B’s are easy to find.

We offer float trips for all occasions and we customize your float to your preferences. Our scenic floats are a great way to enjoy the beauty of Montana by sitting back in our custom bench seat and sipping wine or beer while we float through some of what makes Bitterroot so special.
Spring, while the current is faster we make longer floats, summer we play in the water (great time for kids) and lots of colors in the fall, especially October – the river is spectacular.
